Langostino Lobster Roll

The meat in langostino has a sweet, delicate flavour much like lobster or crab. But it's texture resembles shrimp more than lobster. Using our cooked Langostino lobster meat its the easiest way to make Lobster Rolls. Served on a warm, toasted bun, it's the perfect combination of sweet and savoury for a mouth-watering meal that will have you coming back for more. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound langostino lobster meat
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 New England style hot dog buns (or other)
  • Lettuce, shredded, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine langostino lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chives, and garlic. Mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture evenly among the hot dog buns.
  4. Place the buns on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until buns are golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and top with lettuce. Serve immediately.
