Butter & Lemon Baked Salmon Fillet
Ingredients
- 2 portions of salmon (about 200g each)
- 2 tblsp butter
- 1 tblsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp cilantro or basil (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Prep baking sheet with tin foil and a rack. Grease rack or grease foil in pan if you have no rack.
3. Melt butter in a dish and stir in spices and lemon juice.
4. Brush both sides of salmon or side with no skin if using skin-on salmon. (Place skin-on salmon skin side down on rack or pan.)
5. Bake for 14-18 minutes or until inside is flaky and cooked evenly throughout.
6. For a crispier texture, broil for an extra 4-6 minutes on low.
