INGREDIENTS:
4 tuna steaks (170 g each)
2 tblsp lemon juice
1 tblsp olive oil
2 tblsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp pepper
PREPARATION:
Prepare the marinade of the lemon juice, oil, garlic & thyme. Add steaks to marinade, seal container or bag and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes. Turn & coat thoroughly as needed. On medium, heat a grill pan, coat with a cooking spray, and after removing from marinade, place tuna steaks in heated grill pan. Add salt & pepper. Cook on both sides for about 3-5 minutes, depending on the thickness of steak. The outside should be flaky and the centre slightly pink.
Serve on a bed of green vegetables like steamed broccoli or asparagus. Add a dash of avocado oil with your sea salt & pepper to enhance the smooth texture. Enjoy your dinner!
