Lobster Rolls

Warm Butter Lobster Rolls (Serves 2–3)

Based on 200 g uncooked lobster meat

Ingredients

  • 200 g lobster meat, chopped into bite-size pieces

  • 2–3 split-top buns (depending on how full you like them)

  • 2 tbsp butter (plus extra for toasting buns)

  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)

  • 1½ tsp lemon juice

  • ¼ tsp salt (or to taste)

  • Fresh cracked black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp fresh chives or parsley, finely chopped

How to Make It

  1. Cook the lobster gently
Melt butter over low heat in a skillet. Add lobster meat and cook just until opaque and tender, about 2–3 minutes. Do not brown.

  2. Season
Stir in lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat. Fold in mayonnaise if using.

  3. Toast the buns
Butter the cut sides of buns and toast in a pan until golden. Add a cheese topping (optional).

  4. Assemble & serve
Divide warm lobster evenly between buns. Finish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
