Lobster Stuffed Mushrooms 


  • 200g lobster meat (or 227g fresh crab meat)
  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot 
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp cilantro or oregano or mixture
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 egg
  • 1/8 cup milk
  • salt & pepper to taste


    In a frying pan, saute garlic, celery, carrot in 2 tbsp butter. Add bread crumbs, egg, milk, parmesan cheese, & spices. Saute until a pasty combination. Turn off heat. Prepare your mushrooms by spooning out the stem. Melt remaining butter and place your mushroom tops in the bowl with the melted butter. Coat thoroughly. Using tongs, place in a muffin tin. Spoon in your stove top mixture. Generously sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese on top. Bake in preheated oven at 375 degrees for 20-30 min or until cheese is brown. As an option for extra crispiness, broil on low for 4 min. 

    Try crab meat or a mixture of lobster & crab meat. Omit the celery & carrot as a variation. The garlic flavour and melt in your mouth buttery seafood is what you're going for! You'll want this as a meal instead of just an appetizer! For low carb, substitute the bread crumbs with almond flour. Enjoy!
