Pickerel Cheek Cocktail


1 lb pickerel cheeks

2-3 tblsp butter

1 clove garlic

salt & pepper to taste


1. Preheat a large skillet or frying pan and on medium to medium-high, add butter and garlic, mix for a 1 minute until most butter has melted. 

2. Add pickerel cheeks and saute for 4-5 min or until meat turns white and slightly golden. Be careful not to overcook. 

3. Season with salt & pepper. 

Serve your pickerel cheeks in a bed of lettuce and use lobster forks or your favourite utensils to dip into a cocktail sauce like Humble & Franks Tequila Lime Cocktail Sauce. Pickerel cheeks are boneless and have a light meaty taste.
